For example the "Marketo Practitioners Path" includes only courses focused around the Marketo platform, however each courses drills in key concepts and techniques for practical use.
Upon completion of a path, you will receive a topic-driven certification.
Path lengths differ from path to path, but typically most paths are around 6 to 9 courses, some of which have a practical as a final step before certification.
The entire duration of a path is typically around 12 to 20 hours to complete.
Six Bricks paths & curriculum are not currently accredited through any national or regional accreditation bodies.
However, each piece of curriculum is carefully crafted by experienced and highly sought after in-the-seat marketers and is updated as trends and topics change in the marketing space.
Six Bricks has two forms of practicals: Practical Simulation Labs and Employer-Sponsored Project Practicals.
Practical Simulation Labs (PSL) allow learners to be assessed on various Marketing & Sales enablement software like Marketo for example. Learners run through a 45 to 60 min scenario-based simulation centered around you landing a new job and needing to execute tasks in the system. PSL test learners both on their technical prowess but also on their strategic thinking.
Employer-Sponsored Project Practicals are practicals where a student is presented with a project brief created by a hiring employer and the student will need to execute on the requests of that brief. In many cases, the student might present the practical to the hiring manager to gain insights and a potential interview.
Both practicals can yield a certification based on 80% or higher or Pass/Fail completion.
Individual learners can attend class & be certified absolutely free. Students can, however, leverage the simulation labs, career coaches, and more for only $19 a month.
Employer & University-sponsored programs also come at a premium cost.
Course toolkits have downloadable resources available to students in the classroom. Most of these downloadable resources center around Learner Workbooks which in a sense as briefs, handouts, activities, and projects learners can take advantage of in the course and on the job.
