Andrea Lechner-Becker believes there’s a problem with modern marketing. Too few people have the skills and intangibles truly necessary to be talented marketers. As a result, entry-level marketers are not set up for success as mid-level marketers, who aren’t provided the skills necessary to become great leaders and eventually executive marketing leadership. This human capital issue has big ramifications for organizations, ultimately effecting the bottom lines of businesses.
Starting in 2011, she began fixing this problem one-on-one with clients at LeadMD, a leading marketing consulting firm. But, it wasn’t good enough. There needed to be scale to the education. Enter Six Bricks.
In 2016, she co-founded Six Bricks with Justin Gray, and began building a platform to house the curriculum LeadMD pioneered. Beyond her role as a primary instructor in Six Bricks content, as Chief Strategy Officer, Andrea oversees the product and curriculum roadmap as well as revenue plans and forecasting.
Outside of the office Andrea enjoys watching Wisconsin sports (Go Packers, Badgers and Brew Crew!) and bad reality TV. She also loves spending time with her husband, Jake, and two mutts, Frankie and Mary, Queen of Arkansas.
